Murcia International Airport known locally as Corvera Airport began its history in 2008 when construction began, it took 5 years to complete and in 2013 the airport buiding and infrastructure was delivered on time and in budget.
From this point on the then troubled airport saw numerous years of delays with political and legal wrangling, and the appointed Management company having their agreed contract withdrawn.
Finally in 2017 AENA was awarded the management contract by the Spanish government and in April 2018 they began operational testing.
The official opening date for Murcia´s new airport will be 15th January 2019 and it promises to offer all that is expected from an International airport, bars, restaurants, shopping areas, kids play areas, an observation deck, meeting rooms, airport lounges and VIP lounges.

Used Beniconnect for our transfer from airport to hotel, paid the extra for private transfer. Instructions very clear, found desk in airport no problem where they had driver waiting for us. They were also able to tell us there and then our pickup time as well as receiving an email to confirm. Took less than hour to get to hotel. Pickup on time and transfer to airport approximately 45minutes. Worth the extra. Would use again

Just used Beniconnect for the first time for an airport transfer from Alicante to Benidorm & RTN. Excellent service from the receptionist at the airport desk giving us details on where to find the minibus and for the RTN journey the driver arrived bank on time for our journey back to the airport. I wont hesitate to use them again next time!!!

I used this service after researching reviews on the internet and have to admit the service was first class. I flew into Alicante late at night and Beniconnect was there as promised. On the website there are numerous options you can choose from. I chose the cheapest for my family and I. The mode of transport was a small 15 seater bus with air con and WiFi. Beniconnect were a lot cheaper than paying for transfers via the flight company or the holiday company I booked with. I booked online and when the confirmation email came, attached was a booking reference number with clear instructions on how to find their desk. On arrival, an helpful lady was waiting at the desk and allocated us our bus. We waited for about 10 minuets, the driver loaded the bags in the back and then we were on our way, taken straight to our hotel, which luckily for us was one of the scheduled drop off points. The return to the airport couldn’t have been simpler. Again, I was on a late flight. I received an email 24 hours before giving me instructions on when the bus was arriving and that I should be at the pick up point 10 minutes before the scheduled time. Beniconnect even sent an email to the hotel who pinned it up on their departure board. On the return, I literally fell out of the hotel and on to the bus. Again, air con and WiFi to keeps the kids occupied. One hour later we arrived at the airport right in front of the departure lounge. If you’re going to Benidorm, I can’t stress enough how professional these guys are in getting to the town.

First time booking for a transfer from Moraira (La Sienta) to Alicante airport. Completed online. All information and directions for the pick-up were very clear. The booking was confirmed immediately by email and the exact pick-up time was confirmed 24 hours before by accessing the website. In this instance, I needed to set off earlier than the time suggested as I did not have anywhere to leave my luggage and arriving at the airport early was preferable to waiting outside in the heat in Moraira. Contacted by phone. No waiting in a phone queue and very helpful staff member. I was offered an earlier time and it was easily amended. Arrived promptly and ran to schedule. Very comfortable journey in air-conditioned minibus.
