Alicante train station transfer connects to the beautiful costal resort of Torrevieja.
Torrevieja lies about 50 kilometres south of the city of Alacant. Torrevieja was originally a salt-mining and fishing village as it is located between the sea and two large salt lakes (Las Salinas), which give Torrevieja a healthy microclimate. The Costa Blanca resort of Torrevieja is a dream if you like sun, sea and lots of sand. Five of Torrevieja’s beaches were awarded the Blue Flag in 2016, ranging from cute urban bays buzzing with activity in the summer, to wide open beaches where you can find seclusion even in July. The resort is pinned to the coast by two great salt lagoons that are protected by natural parks.
Once you on your Alicante train station transfer you will find that for the ultimate view of Torrevieja from the sea you can walk along one of the long breakwaters
that pushed a long way out into the Mediterranean so far in fact that a round trip from the waterside in the port to the beacon at the end of the Dique de Levante is about two miles.
Spain has lots of scenic paths that follow the course of disused railway tracks and Torrevieja has a great example. It’s a seven-kilometre route that was part of a line that was built at the advent of the local mining industry but shut down in the 1970s.
Now it’s a handy walking and cycling route past the east shore of the Laguna Salada de Torrevieja. You’ll depart from the Old Railway Station and finish at the small town of Los Montesinos.
Once you leave the resort behind you’ll have widescreen views of the lagoon and the countryside on the shore.
For your Alicante train station transfer once you leave the train, proceed to the arrivals hall and immediately on your left you will see a restaurant called CAFESTORE. Our guide / driver will be waiting for you outside this establishment with a Beniconnect sign, where you will be directed to where your uniformed driver and vehicle are waiting to transfer you to your chosen destination in Torrevieja.
I have used this service twice already and will definitely use again in the future. Will not hesitate to recommend. Drivers are very helpful and friendly, helped me with my luggage. I had to wait a bit on my arrival at the airport for other passengers from their flights but overall the travel (from arriving to the bus stop at the airport to the destination in Calpe) took just about 15 minutes longer than by taxi at a fraction of taxi price. On the way from Calpe to the airport it was about the same time as taxi. Oh, and wi-fi is available on board.
I have now used this Company on two separate occasions for journeys between Alicante Airport and Javea. On each occasion the service and in particular communications were excellent. Maybe I was lucky but I would certainly not hesitate to use them again.
We use beniconect all the time the express that is a little more expensive but you know there is ever only 4 drop offs or pickups taking you straight to or from the airport help you with your bags pleasant drivers most speak a little English so that helps would recommend them to anyone
Booked an accessible vehicle to take us to and from our hotel, as my wife uses an electric wheelchair. The drivers we had were both really nice and helpful. Made sure the lady was safe and comfortable. They also put English music on the radio via a USB stick. Would definitely recommend.
First time with this company , spot on , the vehicles were very clean and the drivers good . Rebooked private transfers and could not be happier with the service ,thanks Beniconnect
