Many historic marks have been left in Alhama de Granada: from the Roman bridge (1st century BC) that leads to the thermal springs, to the intricate layout of the Moorish quarter, where you can still see the Torresolana watchtower and the Granary, an old synagogue dating from the 13th century.
You can also see buildings from the Christian period such as Santa María de la Encarnación Church, the Inquisition House, La Reina Hospital and the Caño Wamba fountain. The Moorish baths, of course, are not to be missed, with their Caliphal-style arches and vaults.
