Murcia Train Station transfer connects to the main tourist town of San Jose.
San José is a town in the region of Níjar, in the province of Almería , within the natural park of Cabo de Gata-Níjar.
The town of San José is located in an inlet guarded on both sides by high rocks, with wide and beautiful beaches surrounded by mountains. It is the entrance of the Bay of the Genoveses, the Mónsul Beach famous for the internationally famous film Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade that have been filmed there.
Apart from the town beaches of Playa de San José, Playa de la Calilla and ""Tabacco Beach"" you can wander along westward to the stunning beaches of Playa de los Genoveses, Playa de Mónsul and Cala de la Media Luna.
Between 1733 and 1735 a castle or fort was built called San José from which the town received its name. During the war of independence it was destroyed and all that remained were its boundries. In 1960 a Guardia Civil barracks was built on its ruins and is still in use to this day.

Booked online via there website by card 5 days before we were due to leave whilst staying at our resort in Villajoyosa for our transport to Alicante airport - our pick up point was at `Hotel Allon` some 500 yards away from our apartment (which was great) - the express shuttle bus was on time + had music and aircon = for 16 euros per person (one way trip) = good value. Tip;- when booking - give them as much info as possible - like baggage length/weight, your actual flight times & flight number + time you would prefer to be at the airport to avoid any mishaps/communication issues = easy trouble free service to use.
