Our train station transfer from Alicante train station connects to the main tourist resort of Calpe the main tourist resort of Calpe on the Valencian coast.
Calpe, a fishing town , with more than 13 km. of coastline bathed by the Mediterranean Sea, is always under the protective shadow of the Rock of Ifach, emblem of Calpe and La Costa Blanca. The Rock of Ifach is chalky mass measuring 332 metres in height, rich in vegetation and birds and declared nature reserve in 1987. Prior to becoming a tourist town, Calpe was traditionally an agricultural and fishing town, producing almonds, raisins and carob beans, as well as being dedicated to fishing and the extraction of salt from its salt flats.
The fish auction dates back to very distant times. Currently, the auction is one of the most attractive and visited events in Calpe. The auction, organised by the Fishermen’s Guild, consists of the wholesale of fresh fish captured by the fishermen of Calpe. From the coves of ‘El Collao’ on the far west, we come across the beaches of ‘Arenal-Bol’, ‘Cantal Roig’ and ‘Levante’, two sailing clubs, and a very busy fishing port, with a succession of restaurants serving fish and seafood. Climbing the Rock of Ifach, sailing along the bay, visiting the Real Club Náutico de Calpe (Calpe’s Royal Sailing Club), strolling through the ‘Paseo Ecológico Príncipe de Asturias’ (the Prince of Asturias’ Ecological Promenade), savouring the delights of the Calpe Bay, enjoying a dip in the ‘Baños de la Reina’ (the Queen’s Baths), practicing scuba diving in the coves, swimming in its fine sandy beaches, visiting Las Salinas (the salt flats) or the old town centre, and enjoying the variety and richness of its fiestas, are just some of the activities on offer in Calpe.

Booked an accessible vehicle to take us to and from our hotel, as my wife uses an electric wheelchair. The drivers we had were both really nice and helpful. Made sure the lady was safe and comfortable. They also put English music on the radio via a USB stick. Would definitely recommend.
Excellent service. I use the no more than 4 drop off to Benidorm and always great service. You may have to wait a bit of your plane comes in first, or early, but this is not a problem. At approx €15 as opposed to €80 in a taxi
Pickup is always on time and buses are always clean and comfortable. Drivers are always very patient and courteous. Would highly recommend Benniconnect for transfers to and from Alicante Airport.
Shuttle was waiting at the airport on arrival, had to wait around 10 minutes for other passengers but then we were on our way, we were first drop off, no complaints. Shuttle was on time for return journey too. Drivers polite and buses immaculately clean. Overall, very good service and would definitely recommend.
I used this service after researching reviews on the internet and have to admit the service was first class. I flew into Alicante late at night and Beniconnect was there as promised. On the website there are numerous options you can choose from. I chose the cheapest for my family and I. The mode of transport was a small 15 seater bus with air con and WiFi. Beniconnect were a lot cheaper than paying for transfers via the flight company or the holiday company I booked with. I booked online and when the confirmation email came, attached was a booking reference number with clear instructions on how to find their desk. On arrival, an helpful lady was waiting at the desk and allocated us our bus. We waited for about 10 minuets, the driver loaded the bags in the back and then we were on our way, taken straight to our hotel, which luckily for us was one of the scheduled drop off points. The return to the airport couldn’t have been simpler. Again, I was on a late flight. I received an email 24 hours before giving me instructions on when the bus was arriving and that I should be at the pick up point 10 minutes before the scheduled time. Beniconnect even sent an email to the hotel who pinned it up on their departure board. On the return, I literally fell out of the hotel and on to the bus. Again, air con and WiFi to keeps the kids occupied. One hour later we arrived at the airport right in front of the departure lounge. If you’re going to Benidorm, I can’t stress enough how professional these guys are in getting to the town.
