Alicante train station transfer connects to the main tourist town of Altea
Altea is without doubt one of the most charming towns to be found on Spain’s Costa Blanca. The name Altea derives from the Moors who conquered the region and named it Althaya, meaning health to all.
The town is just 11 kilometres north of Benidorm. Altea is similar to other Costa Blanca towns in that it has a new and an old neighbourhood. The old section is perched on top of a hill from where you will find really spectacular views.
Once you arrive in Altea on your Alicante train station transfer you will find that Altea town is a holiday haven for the more discerning tourist who will be captivated by its medieval cobbled streets, its picture book old quarter and the delights of its palm-fringed seafront promenade.
The ascent to the old section along steep slopes and stepped streets reveals a broad horizon at every turn and extends along the entire La Marina region. The silhouette of the Peñon de Ifach on one side and the Helade range on the other, frame the view of the sea, with the ever present gulls sweeping low over the town.
For your Alicante train station transfer once you leave the train, proceed to the arrivals hall and immediately on your left you will see a restaurant called CAFESTORE. Our guide / driver will be waiting for you outside this establishment with a Beniconnect sign, where you will be directed to where your uniformed driver and vehicle are waiting to transfer you to your chosen destination in Altea.
Pickup is always on time and buses are always clean and comfortable. Drivers are always very patient and courteous. Would highly recommend Benniconnect for transfers to and from Alicante Airport.
I have used this service twice already and will definitely use again in the future. Will not hesitate to recommend. Drivers are very helpful and friendly, helped me with my luggage. I had to wait a bit on my arrival at the airport for other passengers from their flights but overall the travel (from arriving to the bus stop at the airport to the destination in Calpe) took just about 15 minutes longer than by taxi at a fraction of taxi price. On the way from Calpe to the airport it was about the same time as taxi. Oh, and wi-fi is available on board.
First time booking for a transfer from Moraira (La Sienta) to Alicante airport. Completed online. All information and directions for the pick-up were very clear. The booking was confirmed immediately by email and the exact pick-up time was confirmed 24 hours before by accessing the website. In this instance, I needed to set off earlier than the time suggested as I did not have anywhere to leave my luggage and arriving at the airport early was preferable to waiting outside in the heat in Moraira. Contacted by phone. No waiting in a phone queue and very helpful staff member. I was offered an earlier time and it was easily amended. Arrived promptly and ran to schedule. Very comfortable journey in air-conditioned minibus.
Used Beniconnect for our transfer from airport to hotel, paid the extra for private transfer. Instructions very clear, found desk in airport no problem where they had driver waiting for us. They were also able to tell us there and then our pickup time as well as receiving an email to confirm. Took less than hour to get to hotel. Pickup on time and transfer to airport approximately 45minutes. Worth the extra. Would use again
Our flight landed over 2hrs late but this wasn't a problem for the beniconnect staff, they put us on the next available bus. Had to wait about 1/2 hr for the passengers for that bus to clear customs and then we where off to Calpe. Excellent service used many times and will use again
